If you would have probably have noticed many turtles popping out from from ur many of ur msn contact's nick, you ain't seeing some kinda error .. or virus.. but those turtles are marks of respect to Steve Irwin.. or more commonly know as the crocodile hunter, who died on yesterday, near Port Douglas, Queensland, Australia, while filming a series of "crocodile hunter"

The name "crocodile hunter" sounds pretty familiar eh? Yeah.. he's that man whom u have seen..on tele, battling with crocs and other fearsome creatures, that one could nt have imagined of.

I m sure u guyz would think why should i be bothered bout his demise, as i m neither a close friend, or relative of his.. hahahaz... but like 90% of those who know him..I came to know steve,
thru the tv.. lol.. yeah.. =).. but he's a guy, whom i greatly admired.. =) and no i m nt a gay... but i admire him, as he is committed to lettin us change our stereotypical ideas bout many misunderstood creatures. This, from my point of view, is pretty commendable.. =)

Although he has sadly been called up to be with the lord, his brave and adventurous spirit will always remain in our hearts..

woke up by my cousin, morning calling me, askin me to wake up --- i was like ... har.. what time is it now?? lol... anyway.. thx cousin...if nt i do nt know what time i would be waking up =p

then after that, i went to jurong west community library to study, with ying hui and her study group...it's quite fun la, as i do nt know anyone but Rachel aka ying hui only..lol.. =) but along this whole studing session, i made a few new "friends" -----one of them ish a hello kitty fan, named elaine, who has tons of hello kitty stuffs .. and one who ish a fabulous artist... =) i also met another gurl named elaine .. (ya there are 2 elaines) .. elaine tay is the hello kitty fan... and elaine tan is the one with her bf.. or did i mix it up... nvm... =) ...overall, it was a fruitful study at the library, as i managed to cover 3 topics of maths, made 2 new friends, and completed 1 holiday assignment.. =)

After doin all of those, i felt tired, and i went home with yinghui.. we then met up at around 6:30pm to jog in the park...

now it's 8:04pm ^~^ yeah! =) i have completed my goals for today... so now it's time.. for..............*PLAY!*

Well more about the juniors first.... The first round of selections of Secondary 1 councillors are comin up! Votes, have aready been casted, fer people to select who they want to lead the school.
Those who are nt selected by your friends or are nt as popular, don't fret, as the teachers will also be norminating students based on certain citeria..( i shall nt go deeper into it..as... it's a secret =) )

Those who are lucky to have been Picked out, will have to go for the first round of interviews. Following that, those who have managed to stay alive, will go fer interviews by council teachers, where more will be eilmated..

Student leaders who have lasted through all 2 interviews will attend a camp which ish mentally tough....

ok..it is abt a guy called neivelle tan who so called inspired me with his talk today in our assembly..here goes his story..at the same time, u guys could do a reflection of yourself..okay guys..but let me warn u first, i am not trying to promote religion myself or what, but just want to tell u a true account of a real life story and let u think the morale of the story yourself..

story of a young offender's first involvement with street crimes, his repeated return to destructive behaveiour and the decisive moments of his jail sentence. A guy borned in april 1940 and is 66 yrs old today. He was an ex-convict, a rebellious person and a naugty boy. At pri 5, he was already a sch drop-out and a gangster. He was also invovled a street society or gang fight as what we call now.
He had a habit, to us which is bad. He loves to irritate teachers when he was young and to him, irritating a teacher gives him a sense of satisfaction.What he did was to disturb all of the teachers who taught him and to him, bringing him to the principal was what he loves most.
No matter what the principal did to him be it oublic canning,calling up his parents or counselling nothing could change him for the better.To him, public canning was nothing to him.in fact,to most of you,public canning was serious..but to him,it was just a piece of cake and to the other students,everyone regarded him as a hero. He said that when there was a public canning, he would just wear an extra shorts in it and went for canning without crying.........
However,there was only a teacher who could not be irritated and thus, he in fact was the one being irritated.Last time,if you do not ans a qns immediately, the teacher could cane you on your knuckles but this teacher instead,forgive him time and time and time again.Neivelle Tan took cockroach with ink and put inside a matchbox and put it on the teacher's table.When the teacher opened up the matchbox,the ink cockroach crawled up onto her arms.She knew that it was the notorious boy,Neivelle. She called him to the front and said to him,
"Neivelle, I know that this is the act of yours.I know your trick that you will want me to send you to the principal,get a detention and a public canning.But no. I will forgive you because GOD LOVES YOU,JESUS LOVES YOU,AND MOST OF ALL,I LOVE YOU."
The word in capital letter was the one which drove Neivelle crazy.He was an anti christian.Thus he said to the teacher that if she was to said that again,he will pump all her four car tyres.Please bear in mind that last time,if your tyres are pumped,you have to wait for a few wks before you get back your car.
And again,Neivelle bullied another student.This time the teacher said to him:i am going to forgive you because GOD LOVES YOU,JESUS LOVES YOU,AND MOST OF ALL,I LOVE YOU!
This drove Neivelle mad and he went to pump the teacher's car tyres.The next day,Neivelle went to sch in 2 shorts,preparing that he was going to receive a public canning.He was the first one to get into the classroom.There he was,alone,with the teacher whom he had pumped her car tyres.She was crying.Neivelle was akward.for guys,if you see the teacher crying,you would probably get akward and ask yourself:what to do??why is the teacher crying??what am i to do next?? This goes the same for Neivelle.He tried to creep out of the classroom but the teacher called him to the front.The teacher said to him,sadly:
Neivelle,i do not know why you hate me so much??i am doing this for all your own good.And i am still puzzled on why you are treating me this way.But,since i know your tricks,i will not send you to the principal.Because GOD LOVES YOU,JESUS LOVES YOU,AND MOST OF ALL,I LOVE YOU!
So,it made Neivelle angry.Thus he was drop out of sch.As he was at the age of 15,there was alot of involvment of street fights,and he was one of them.One day,he got invovle in a fight just outside a police station and one of them was being stabbed.This frightened Neivelle and he went to stay in the jungle for almost 1/2 a yr before he was being caught.
When he was being caught,he was sentence to death.However,his lawyers fought his case with the judge and he luckily escaped the gallows.How did he do that? Perhaps god was on his side,he was 2 wks before 18yrs old and anyone under the age of 18 could not be sentence to death.Thus he was sentence to life imprison.He could only be out only when the queen granted him the permission to do so.
There in jail,he continue to rebell.And he was sentence to solidatary where he was locked up in a four corner with no one and only himself and darkness.From there,he started to get clastrophobia-where ppl got insane.However,the police there did not believe him as he always played a trick on them.
One day,someone called him and he finally heard a voice.It was a man asking him to flush the toilet.He was puzzled.why flush the toilet? It turned out that they could talk when they squatted down there.Neivelle asked the man if he had any bks to read.Mostly,they were in chinese so Neivelle could not read.However,there was this bk which was in bilingual,thus Neivelle thought how can he take this bk and the man taught him a trick.In the middle of the night,
Neivelle:i want toilet paper,no more already..
police:what are you doing??shouting in the middle of the night..where am i going to get you paper??
Man:i have i have there,take it
and so..Neivelle got the papers...just as he was reading,the papers were pages torned out of the bible.As Neivelle hated christianity,he threw the papers into the toilet bowl and used his hands to hit on the wall which blood spilled out.Neivelle did that when he was irritated.He was angry that the papers were bible.However,deep down,he did not want his pride to be shown to others.He was arrogant.He was telling to himself,hey since no one was here,why don't you take a look at the paper?afterall,there is no harm in reading right??
thus he began looking at the papers and he forgot what he was reading all of a sudden and became engross in the book.suddenly,he began to reflect on what his teachers said to him,god loves you,jesus loves you and i love you.The paper stated that whatever you want,god will grant you permission.Thus he said,why not he ask for permission to be out. He sat there crossing his legs and hands and prayed: God please,please take me out of this place now.
When he opened his eyes,the door was still not opened.He was fed up.He scolded Jesus.He said since you want to challenge me,i shall sit here and pray everyday until one day you will let me out.Then,one day he forgot to pray and the door opened for him to get out.He was put into a normal prison.He thanked god and from that day onwards,it was a mark end in his life.
One day,he received a letter from his brother stating that his mother had contracted terminal cancer and she had only 14 days to live.He regretted. He begged the officer to let him see his mother for one last time.He said even if it was 5 mins,he also would not mind.Why? When he was young, the money he mum gave him to pay his sch fees was not being paid.Instead,his teacher even paid his sch fees for him. He even got himself injured and told his mum that bulllies stole his money and he got no money.But he took the money to gamble.His mother did not pursue the matter and even worked harder to give him the money to pay sch fees.He only wanted to see the last look of his mother.In that 5 mins,he wanted to say these to his mother: mum i love you,mum i am grateful for what you did to me..im sry but i've let you down..
But was he granted all these??no.
On the day his mum died,his brother send him a letter stating that he was cruel.His mum loved him the most and yet he did not even came.He was very sad.He wanted to end his life because on the day his mum died,all the children whom his mother did not really love came,except him.The most loving son by his mother did not came.His mother died with the last name calling Neivelle.
At that point,Jesus played another big role in his life.Jesus stood by him and helped him overcome all his obstacles.He was grateful to Jesus.At that point,he promised he would change for the better and he was the first convict who completed his o lvls inside the prison.

okay..that is the end of my story. This is only a brief description of the whole story.He wrote a bk on iron man and i finished reading half of it.There is lots more to this story in elaboration like how he got cane and etc.Thus, now i am going to write my reflection.

indeed,it is thankful that he escaped gallows.As a young child,being in a street gang was not easy for him.He had to endure all the toughness he gone true. What was most saddening that he said that to himself too was that he wasted his whole youth in prison.Most of all,he could not even said a gdbye to his beloved mother.
To ppl reading this story today.Think and reflect on yourself.Is it worth it to waste your youth? Your parents have spent so much time and effort in you,hoping that you would not follow in their footsteps and in return,you rebel. So what if you are a hero? Good things will end one day and if you will never know what will be happening tml. So to those who are wasting their youth and are turning into the wrong paths.i urged you to head back and go onto the right path.Spent your time wisely now. You are not going to live in comfort live forever.one has to grow up one day and work. You only have another few more years to enjoy comfort zone and study hard.The choice is up to you. Your parents have pin so much hope on you and is this how you are going to reward them?? If you do not study hard now, you will have to suffer for the rest of your life by working. This is not worth it.
Worse,if you are caught for sentencing,it is no good either.Suffering from those harsh punishment is worse than one could ever think of. And also,spent more time with your parents as you may not have a chance to do so. I believed one of his regret was not being to see his mother the last face.This is a story of a touching and inspiring book.It makes you do soul-search on yourself and reflect on yourself that when was the last time you said thank you to your parents?when was the last time you said sorry for your ignorant to them?when was the last time you appreciate your parents in whatever they do?When was the last time you helped your parents do housework and make them happy? when was the last time you said you love your parents? i hoped that as you read this today, you will do some soul searching and change for the better.do not because of face and pride that you do not dare to tell them that you love them. In life,you
should do what you wish to do and have no regret.That is life.Do not wait until it is too late then you regret.By that time,no one can help you.You can only help yourself as your future lies in your hands.Your parents can only give you the comfort you want now and it will not last forever.There will be a day where you will have to face the world on your own.
Thus,it is a pity to waste your youth,the one which could help you nxt time when you grow up.To me,it was truly inspiring story which could even change my life the next moment.Thus,do not follow in Neivelle's footstep.he has regretted on wasting his youth and has urged all of you to work and study hard.

I was awoken by the strangest dream in my whole life --- falling into a black whole surrounded by nth but regrets.
It took me awhile to come to my senses, and it made me feel that i've really let myself down. What i have been doing now, ish not right. Is it too late? NO IT'S NOT .. i will not let myself be engulfed by all my troubles and regrets .. NEVER M I GIVING UP!

yay! just came back from SLC.. hahahz... so happy .... =P.. well actually this camp is more of the "relaxed" ones... cause most of the camps that i have been to --> torture,screaming and shouting, and i was quite shocked when what i have been mentally prepared for.. was not what it seems to be. Although it's so called "relaxed", there are times when we need to be really serious and strict, like *stand by bunk* and *reporting*. For *stand by bunk* and *reporting*, we need to be really alert and to coordinate well. for eg --> greeting of sirs and md'ams, checking the bunks.. blah..

overall, it was quite a GOOD experience(i do not want to go thru all the details) but i really saw the rainbow after putting thru the rain.

*MENTAL STRENGTH IS STRONGER THAN PHYSICAL & THAT BOTH OF THEM COMBINED, WILL CREATE AN UNBREAKABLE TEAM*

hey... anyone knows how to do pumping?? i dun think my way is the right way loh... lol... dunno lei... i tried 2 ways of how to pump so far... but ... one seems to be so easy and the other the opposite... den today got ncc pt... so we did 20... hahas or rather 10 pushups and 20 incline pullups ... hahas ...
but although i am not to say anything ... and i promised to do so... i find that u guyz... u shud noe whu.. has wrong one of your friends ... stephaine... i glanced through the record book of all the funds ... and found that the records are clearly written down... so... everyone ... this is one more thing to take note... and erm... everyone is not perfect, so we cannot erm... how to sae? ah... blame people for their mistakes done ... well... i dun think i have not done anything wrong this year... hahas...but the matter is that those who blame people, accidentally or purposely, are wrong... cause they should not "takan" people when they has also done wrong things and were not "takan" by that person.....

I am sick of all these ....!!! y must friends fight !!! There is always a victor and a loser in a fight !! But y must they fight ... can't they make up!! It's so sickening !!! fighting is not a "crime" but y must we fight over small matters Y can't we just treat it like a dream... and forget the whole matter when we wake up!
Because of all these, people would "betray" their friends and join the "popular" group and make curses to the person.. those not in there, the so called "middleman" will be called "chickens" and rumors would spread about them ... like for example " he sux" ...
I am one of the "middle mans" but i am surely not a scary cat... it is that i do not think that we need to fight for just a few buckz....
